Man I’ve been eating eating eating. Worked until six on Friday night. Ceil fixed Mexican. I just piled everything over the chips: rice, beans, and ground beef then cheese.
Saturday AM golf before stopping by to see you guys. A few more stops and didn’t get home until noon. Laundry. Had on the Army Navy game as well. C was on the go all day.
Attended the 40th birthday party for Jimmy Ewing’s wife Tyler. Their chef cooked prime rib, grilled small potatoes and brussels sprouts, and salad. Jim Ewing looked good. George Ewing has a steady girlfriend. I sat next to David Deeter’s son. Hung out with David Hurt. Ceil hung out with Mary. Mark Stephens was under the weather, and did not attend.
After Sunday School we left JFBCjust after 11:30. I drove C to Avolon. We split chicken quesadillas at Superica. Very good. She shopped. It was raining, so I hustled back to the car. Went through all my emails, checked social media, and took a 2 hour nap. Then I picked up C and drove home. Got there after 4 pm. Ceil cooked pancakes and bacon for supper. M ate with us.
Ran three fast miles at the gym this morning. Crazy busy at work. Lots of year end projects for the bigwigs. Me and Angie are the only team members in the office.

BOBBY VALENTINE [SABR Bio] scored his first three runs in the majors without benefit of an at-bat, with the Dodgers in 1969. All five of his appearances that year came as a pinch-runner. He finished his playing career with Seattle in 1979. Toby Harrah took Valentine’s place as manager of TEX in July 1992, then later replaced him in his next managerial assignment as skipper of the AAA Norfolk Tides beginning with the 1995 season. Valentine married Mary Branca, daughter of Dodger pitcher Ralph Branca, although they divorced a year ago.
