GT WINS GAME

Stop the presses. GT showed out last night. Those all-navy uniforms were really something. Special. Unique. Recruits love stuff like that. Then I changed the channel and the Houston Texans were wearing the same thing.

QB Graham had a career day but supposedly NC State defensive secondary was depleted. A couple of passes were dropped, or GT might've scored another time or two. State down to third QB. Defense tired in fourth quarter. Offense didn't help but nice stuff by defense on the penultimate 2 point conversion.

Announcers were informed about both teams, which was nice. Did tell the Waffle House story two times. Nice that GT punter Pressley Harvin was hyped by former NFL punter / wrestling announcer Pat Macafee. Pressley had a good night punting the ball.

Appears GT HC Geoff Collins must've smoozed around with the announcing crew, making sure they knew all his recruiting buzzwords and hashtags and the like. Stuff that didn't really translate well onto the telecast. Collins needs to coach more and hype less. More reasons to like the bread and butter Bulldogs and distain the wannabee Bees. Does all that dancing translate to winning football games? Not that I can tell.

I stayed up for the whole GT game. With the win the normally over the top GT social media went wild. You'd think they won the national championship. If you pooh pooh the whole thing you are dissed. It's all for the kids.

Well I survived. Had an ultrasound on my legs to check blood flow. Doctor said my legs were maybe slightly better shape then 4 years ago. Monday I get my second shingles shot. Might line up a stress test.

Made it to work in time for lunch meeting: Dreamland BBQ, Brunswick stew, potato salad, banana pudding. 2018 was our best year in history. 2019 will be the second best.

What are you doing this weekend? Guess I will meet C after work at the YMCA. Small group Saturday morning. Going to watch GA/A&M then over to another house for games with 3 couples.

Trader Joe's has some good easy to fix frozen one course dinners like sweet and sour chicken.

Anna's room.
