The Nagurski Era

To celebrate the NFL’s 100th season the Bears will be wearing 1936 Bronko Nagurski era uniforms. Not sure if all the sleeve stripes will show on the skin tight game jerseys though. On Friday the Bears will unveil the uniforms but local retailers accidentally put the jerseys out on the showroom floor a week early. Will love the striped socks.

Speaking of striped socks, Uni Watch is having get-togethers around the world to celebrate the blog’s 20th anniversary. I’ll cove the June 29 event at Smith’s Olde Bar in Atlanta. Planning on wearing shorts with my navy Braves striped socks. Perhaps Chuck Taylors in honor of creator Paul Lukas. Probably my Braves Uecker jersey and matching Boston cap.

Monday: left work at six and cashed in a milkshake coupon at Chickfila on the way home. Chocolate. That filled me up so I only ate a few chips and peanuts. Later I microwaved three little taquitos that had been sitting in the freezer.

Ceil left for SC yesterday and was at the store when Jeopardy Jonathan lost to the Chicago librarian. I also watched a MASH, Seinfeld, The Neighborhood, and an interesting time travel movie starring the hunk for This Is Us, titled “Another Time.”

Interesting discussion on The Neighborhood after the son brought home a non-Christian girlfriend, between the son and his mother. The son agreed that it wasn’t the right thing to do.

Anna made it back to Athens yesterday evening.

A customer used our metal to make a huge tomahawk/guitar to promote voting Braves into the All-Star Game in Cleveland, home of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
