Golf this AM with the vet and the prof.
2. 3 wood off tee sliced right. The prof's tee shot was in the same place. I made a couple of chips that weren't quite enough. Hit the green with the third. Good lag putt.
3. Two poor 6 irons off tee. Several chips, never quite good enough. I did find a ball.
4. Hit a good 9 iron off tee. Sailed low but straight. Got a good roll. Too good - past the hole and down the hill to the right. Prof hit his tee shot pin high (above). While looking for my ball I found a nice Callaway ball in the mud. Another double.
5. Smacked my 3 wood low and slightly left, where I aimed it. Great carry. Rolled across the green and off the back to the rough. Shot of the day. Bad chip good chip. Bad putt good putt.

6. Decent drive off tee, almost to the big oak in the middle of the fairway. While waiting on my playing partners to tee off I found two more balls in the woods, and I finished plus 4 for the day. Good 5 iron that went straight, then rolled left to the middle of the fairway. Cruddy chip, but close enough to putt. But the putts weren't good.
7. Great straight drive off tee, up the hill even with the last tree. A couple of flubbed shots, then a decent chip. Unspectacular putts.
8. Another good long straight drive. Long for me anyway. Approach wasn't pretty, but it rolled onto the green. Three putted for bogey.
9. Three wood sailed left and short. Flubbed an 8 iron. Ball was just behind a root, so my chip popped straight up in the air. Then a chip that went straight but low, like so many of my shots today. But it rolled up onto the green - and lipped out of the cup, leaving me a one foot putt.
I've rarely have to buy golf balls. They're so expensive. I did buy some back in September 2021 before the EZGo tourney. Then after losing several balls this past fall I was scraping the bottom of my barrel. I priced balls online. Wasn't finding any at my go to place: thrift stores. Finally scored about 40 balls at the North Springs Goodwill for just over thirty bucks.

On the way home this morning I stopped by the Northside Drive Goodwill and found 62 golf balls for $21.39. A majority were Nike, Callaway, and Titleist. Most in great shape. Good stuff. Then home for an eggy boy.
Our TV went out on Friday. More correctly, our Wi-Fi isn't working, so no TV. Went out yesterday. AT&T came this afternoon to fix. It got going just when we left for supper. Got home and turned on the TV - then the power got knocked out for over 15 minutes.
