Picking Tennessee to beat Ohio State is intriguing, and quite probably correct. I will pick the Buckeyes just to be different. Indiana could very well upset the Irish, but advance no further. Dawgs could get lucky and beat Oregon, but Lanning may just have the secret sauce to know Georgia’s weak spots. I would pick the Dawgs to go all the way but I'll have a better chance to win my pool if I pick Oregon, even if I am wrong. My playoff picks:
12.20 800 Notre Dame beats Indiana in South Bend
12.21 1200 Penn State beats SMU in Happy Valley
12.21 400 Texas beats Clemson in Austin
12.21 800 Ohio State beats Tennessee in Columbus
12.31 730 Fiesta Penn State beats Boise State
01.01 100 Peach Texas beats Arizona State
01.01 500 Rose Oregon beats Ohio State
01.01 845 Sugar UGA beats Notre Dame
1.09 Orange UGA beats Penn State
1.10 Cotton Oregon beats Texas
1.20 Oregon beats UGA
With all the players opting out of bowl games and entering the transfer portal, its just not worth it to pick the other bowl games. Sad that they're all the more meaningless. GT vs Vandy should be a good game. Brent Key will have the Jackets prepared. So great that both GT QBs Haynes King and Philo are returning for the 2025 season.
I left work yesterday around 515 and drove home. Ceil was sitting Millie, so I got to play were her for a while. Left for small group at 645. A good long discussion on Luke chapters 9 and 10. Didn’t get home until almost 10 pm. Millie was asleep upstairs, so I straightened up a little and took out the trash.
The performance in Sandy Springs didn’t start until 8 pm, and Shivonne was sleepy before it began. When W&MC arrived at 1030 to pick up Millie, Shivvy was fast asleep.
Skipped the gym this morning due to some logistical issues, after I had gotten dressed in gym clothes in time to go. Stopped by McDonalds for their dollar deal: a tiny sausage burrito.
