Every day at work a picture of the “salesman of the day” gets put on the TV. Today’s photo of Cam has him not zoomed in. Reminds me of Marla Hooch in A League of Their Own.
See where both the starting UGA QB and punter are out for the playoffs? But since QB Stockton is more of a runner, he may open up the running game for the other backs. Plus WR #11 Smith, who kept dropping Beck’s passes, managed to catch one from Stockton. At least now I know how to spell his name.
UGA has a freshman backup punter who was going to redshirt, who was ranked as the top punter in the country coming out of high school. Kid named Miller. Next man up.
GT has opened as a favorite to beat Vandy in the Bham Bowl. They should’ve called it the Vulcan Bowl. Question of the day was who was the best transfer in to your program? Tech has a long history, but Haynes King (and others) trump John Dewberry.
Bowls. So many players drop out beforehand. Since so many bowl games really don’t mean anything, but to me what does it say to NFL teams when you turn your back on your team when they have a game to play. Guess with the transfer portal almost all players already have zero loyalty to their team, just as coaches don’t either. The world we live in today.
How Gunner Stockton gave Georgia ‘new juice’ in SEC Championship win
Kate Martin was picked by Golden State in the WNBVA expansion draft. She is a good solid all around player. Can defend, shoot, and pass. Plus she is popular and a recognized name, and young. Excellent choice. Vegas is so talented that they won’t miss her too much, plus Kate will now get more playing time.
Was it Thursday night that the Hawks beat the Lakers, on a late Trae Young jumper?
Kareem bashed LeBron James for his NBA Mt. Rushmore.
Last Friday afternoon my boss finally got approval for a team Christmas dinner. Not sure yet when and where but my boss will do a good job of setting it up, as he knows all the good places. We’ve been to Frankie’s Steakhouse in Duluth the past two years. Might go to Stoney River or Falling Rabbit in downtown Duluth.
I’ve never acquired a taste for alcohol. Ceil can’t finish a glass of wine. I will drink plenty of Diet Cokes. I will probably be sure to order a dessert for both me and another for Ceil, and take home one of them. Man Frankie’s Steakhouse had these humongous slices of cake, almost as big as a regular sized cake.
Some will drink, but no one really gets drunk. Brad suggested we go out on a weeknight, but I doubt any of the drinkers would want to hit the spirits hard during the week.
Saturday: came in to work to pay bills and order presents and other personal stuff. Went to the post office and Dollar Tree and RaceTrac. On Sunday at Johnson Ferry the 1130 service we attend was be a baptism service.
When Millie sees Ceil's phone, she asks to facetime with me. I am loved.
