2000 Nissan Frontier

Tuesday: I didn’t leave work until 630. Had to stop by the bank on the way home. Got a decent amount of stuff done. Organized and arranged a hot shipment and paid some bills. Didn’t get home until 730. C had me a Chickfila sandwich and had made cinnamon rolls. Watched an episode of Elsbeth. Then with everything I had going on, C asked if I had done something else. It was just after 9 pm, but I went up to bed.

Wednesday: skipped the gym again. Got in to work a little early, after stopping for gas. Busy morning.

I worked from 730-1230. On my drive to Austell I had to diffuse a couple of hot fires at work. Got to the little car dealership just on time, but the lady I was meeting to check out the car was stuck in traffic. She was an hour late. Gave me time to check out the old truck – and every other car on the lot. The least pushy salespeople, perhaps due to the cold. The lady came and checked out the pickup from top to bottom. She’s owned a similar car lot for 20 years, and was well versed with the vehicle. We took it for a test drive. The tires were 20 years old, but other than that the truck was in decent shape for a 2000. But the ceiling fabric had worn out, and the interior roof had been painted with a metalical paint that gave off a weird metallic smell that would probably make M sick. Otherwise he would’ve loved the old truck.

There was one other cool car on the lot. On the way home I rewarded myself with a free chicken Philly cheese sandwich from Jersey Mikes. Very good.

Small group was good, with four in attendance. All four of us have so much going on. Made me think back on how I’ve had something every night going back over 8 days. Several things on the calendar for the next ten.

Dang credit card wants to charge me two bucks a month for paper statements. AT&T gives a $5 discount for emailed statements – per cell phone. I can handle statements emailed, but there for a while I wasn’t getting nuthin. Plus I am on auto-pay, so I wasn’t seeing the entire transaction. I may be an old fogey, but these companies want you to go paperless so it will be harder for you to see when they’re sneaking in extra charges. Paperless makes it easier to forget to pay your bill, so they get extra fees. Paperless bad.
