Next year is the 50th anniversary of the Braves 1969 Western Division Championship. The Braves should copy the Cardinals and release a weeknight special ticket series of 1969 mini-bobbles: Luman Harris, Phil Niekro, Bob Didier, Orlando Cepeda, Felix Millan, Clete Boyer, Rico Carty, Felipe Alou, Hank Aaron, Cecil Upshaw.
Comment with your own suggestions. Just don’t say Kelsey Wingert – that’s creepy. The only broadcasters they’ve ever done have been long-tenured hall of fame broadcasters. But a black-eyed Kelsey getting hit by a line drive bobble – that might be cool.

* Glavine holds the all-time record for most sacrifice bunts by a pitcher. Maddux holds the all-time record for most bunts by a right-handed pitcher. Niekro and Smoltz aren’t far behind. Look it up. With the decline in bunts in MLB, these records may never be broken.
