Remembering D-Day

Was browsing through cheap jerseys and thought I'd post a few.
Lots of Herschel jerseys but few with the block lettering of his era.
Even though he's graduated, it would be cool to own a Rodrigo jersey.
Perhaps with a Rose Bowl patch.
Or an Atlanta Crackers jersey. Or a 1969 road grey #65 Braves jersey - Satchel Paige.
Don't see many Bartkowski jerseys out there these days.
Sure the sleeve stripes should be wider, but you can't have everything.
If I had to get a Clemson jersey I would get a Dwight Clark.
A Biletnikoff would be nice, but in a black jersey with the silver letters. Or a green Paul Hornung Packers jersey.
Would be cool to get a Eagles Herschel jersey.
This is my favorite Eagles jersey. Even though Herschel never wore it, it would be fun to get his number 34 in this style.
Fun fact: the player to wear 34 for the Eagles immediately before Herschel was his former UGA teammate Terry Hoage, who wore 14 for the Dawgs. Later Herschel was voted the greatest Eagle to ever wear the number 34.
R.I.P. Johnny Mayors.

My email buddy listed his top preachers, so I took a stab at doing the same. Man not sure I could list 10-15 favorite preachers. My list.

12. Rick Statham McDonough GA
11. Foley Beach former SPdL youth minister
10. Ravi Zacharias once preached at SPdL
9. Frances Chan spoke at the Passion Conference
8. Clay Smith JFBC
7. Tony Campolo
6. Billy Graham
5. David Platt Secret Church
4. Louie Giglio Passion City Church
3. John Piper Desiring God
2. Bob Marsh SPdL
1. Andy Stanley North Point Community Church

Wednesday: busy busy busy. Stopped by the thrift store on the way home. Also the bank and Dollar Tree. Mexican for supper (beow). Ceil works so hard to make everything homemade, including the taco shells. Chicken. Ground beef. Refried beans. Cilantro rice. Cheese. Salsa. Corn. Then she doesn’t eat very much. Lots of leftovers for me. M ate with us, after a long day at the farm. He brought home carrots and potatoes.

Was 8:45 by the time we finished cleaning up. I did a little on the laptop but not much. Bon Appetit Test Kitchen. Bed.

Thursday: busy again. Customer is back full force. Supper was the Mexican leftovers. C had fruit. For lunch Friday I had the hot dogs M brought home.

C watched a Hallmark Channel movie. Man not much else going on. Heard the Buckhead Diner is going to close again until restrictions are lifted. Saw where Grizz Gaming won again.

DEL CRANDALL  [SABR Bio] Ontario native and one-time Cleveland Indian finished behind Don Newcombe in Rookie-of-the-Year voting - 1949 NL ROY = only Newk & Crandall received votes. Born in the town of Ontario, California. He won four Gold Gloves at his position in the first six years the award existed - GG at C in 1958-60, ’62. Crandall finished his 16-year career w/CLE in 1966. He was replaced at his position by a Hall of Famer. Joe Torre took over as the Braves’ regular catcher in 1963.
Saturday's sneakers: my old black New Balance 993s. Got them for Christmas years and years ago, now they're starting to fall apart from old age. Still a shoe I can wear all day without having my feet and legs get tired.
