Instant Family

We rented the movie Instant Family on Friday night. Hilarious. A childless couple takes in three foster children: a teenage girl and her younger siblings. The movie shows its isn’t all fun times, but in the end it’s worth it. Filmed in Atlanta, in Piedmont Park, Avondale Estates, Kell High School, (the track I used to run on), and near the Big Chicken.

Housework on Saturday after AM small group. Thinking about it now my back was hurting Saturday as well. Late Saturday night we watched the David Duchovny / Minnie Driver movie Return to Me, where a man falls in love with a woman who’d received his first wife’s heart.

Buckhead Diner: the burger and fries were great. I am working on a burger list for Andrew. Saturday night when we left Buckhead the temperature read 72 degrees. By the time we got home the reading was 57 degrees. Not used to such wide fluctuations. Left home this morning at 50 degrees, and it was 57 degrees at work.

By the time we got back Saturday night my upper back was hurting. Sitting up straight helps. Wasn’t too bad, and Sunday morning most of the pain was gone. Guess Saturday we were cleaning up and I was bending over too much.
Anna drove all the way to Orlando Friday night. Got there around midnight. Tracked her on my phone. Saturday morning they left out and drove to rest of the way to Boca Raton, where they’re having a great time. More pictures to come.

After Sunday School I drove Ceil to Perimeter Mall for makeup. Stopped by two thrift stores as well. Then to Home Depot. We were starving by the time we got home. Ceil had the leftovers from Buckhead Diner. I made myself quesadillas. Later Ceil worked on school. I took a nap. Watched the end of the golf tournament and some of the Atlanta Legends game, then it was Hallmark Channel time. I zipped over to WalMart for Ceil, and shopped around while I was there.

Yesterday Aaron Murray and the Legends played at Georgia State Stadium at four. Former GT QB Justin Thomas fumbled two punts. A half mile away Atlanta United played at Mercedes Benz Stadium at five, and next door at State Farm Arena the Hawks tipped off at six.

This coming Sunday Will is running the Publix Marathon all around downtown Atlanta. I’m typing out where it goes so we can see him. Centennial Park up Piedmont to North, back to Inman Park to Little 5 Points, then the Carter Center to Virginia Highland, through Piedmont Park to Midtown, through Georgia Tech, down Marietta Street to Mercedes Benz Stadium, through Clark Atlanta and Spellman to the state capitol, past Turner Field to Grant Park, back past to state capitol, east to Oakland Cemetery, back through GSU to the finish at Centennial Olympic Park.
