I used my BP rewards for free gas, always on the Civic refills.

749 gallons used in the Civic, so I saved over $325.00.

We did a better job of taking trips in the newer, high-MPG Civic last year:

Birmingham (Civic)…340 miles

Jefferson (Civic) 7 trips…2400 miles

Jefferson (MPV) 2 trips…1200 miles

Macon (Civic) 4 trips…800 miles

Macon (MPV) 2 trips…400 miles

Myrtle Beach (MPV)…1100 miles

Washington DC (Civic)…1900 miles

We drove more miles last year than ever, for several reasons. Will was driving the van the first half of the year, and we had to make several trips up take him up to his camp in Ellijay. Hopefully we’ll drive far less in 2012: Will has his own car, and we’re not driving to Living Science several times per week (though other activities have taken its place).
