Admirable that Oregon QB Bo Nix is playing vs Liberty in the bowl game. I think he’s played in more college games than anyone in history. Prima donna USC QB Caleb Williams is skipping the Trojans bowl game, and expects whichever team drafts him to give him ownership in the team. I would stay far away from that.

UGA kickoff specialist Jared Zerkel is transferring. He was beat out for placements by freshman K Woodring. Great postgame video of Kirby lovingly consoling his players in the locker room after losing to Bama.

Got to working on a project yesterday and didn’t leave until almost 8 pm. Made me mad at myself, in additional to all the work frustration. On the way home I dictated a long email spilling out all my frustrations. Sent it to myself. Not sure if it helped. At home I pecked out a shorter more concise email that I read off in our morning meeting. Haven’t really done my main job in almost a month. Coworker off for three days. Means more will be thrown at me. Worked all morning and did a bunch, but barely made a dent in the pile.

C had made beef stew and collards. I didn’t eat the potatoes. She had on a Hallmark movie. I didn’t even get out my laptop.

Up early to lift weights this morning. Stopped by the post office on the way to work. Put up some string lights on my desk, that I had found in Matthew’s stuff.

Brent George passed away. Father of Josiah and Isaac and several other fine young people. Brent and I used to run the scorer’s table for our son’s high school basketball games. He had a stroke several years ago, and was never the same. Jos and Isaac posted loving tributes to their father.

Got my new laptop and monitors. Now I just need time to set them up. Hard to keep up with what day it is. I stayed late Wednesday evening to set it all up. Might have computer issues tomorrow!
