All six 2014 HOF inductees have close ties to the state of Georgia. Tony LaRussa, Joe Torre, Tom Glavine, and Greg Maddux played for the Braves.
Torre and Bobby Cox managed the Braves. While Braves, both LaRussa and Cox wore number six.
Frank Thomas grew up in Columbus.
