A mark of Hank Aaron’s greatness was that in addition to retiring as the all-time home run king, he also finished as the career leader of runs batted in, extra-base hits, total bases, intentional walks, sacrifice flies, plate appearances, at bats, and games played. Aaron retired second all-time in two categories: hits and runs scored.
