For Sale: 30 Years of Sports Illustrateds

Decided to get rid of all my Sports Illustrateds, which take up a lot of room. 1984-2018, about 98% of the issues, about 1650 magazines in all. Went through and pulled out the cream of the crop to save, like the Michael Jordan covers. Maybe Ali, Tiger, Braves, and the 96 Olympics. Lebron's first 'The Chosen One' cover is "valuable". Ceil wants the Clemson covers. UGA, Herschel, and two GT covers.

I haven't done anything yet – except go through about half of them so far to save out all the keepers.an covers – I'm saving all the good stuff. I already saved one box full and I haven't found the 96 Olympics ones yet.

Several heavy boxes of magazines that you can have if you want. I posted them for sale (for $25) and only three people have looked at it. On one hand I don't think they're worth that much with me keeping all the good ones, but on the other it seems like they'd be worth something to someone. On Facebook marketplace I noticed two other people selling similar collections, for large sums of money. Not sure they have every issue, as mine doesn't. This Tiger cover is a keeper.

Also have a few "vintage" kids football helmets, nicer than the cheapo kiddy helmets they've made the past 30 years. I also have a rare Jaguars kiddy helmet with the original logo, similar to the Jaguar car. Also Falcons, Bears, Dolphins, Chargers, Rams, and Vikings. I need to put them up for sale.

I wondered why the Falcons didn't go ahead and try to push it in. Guess they didn't want to give the Cards any opportunity to retake the lead. Pretty sure that happened to the Falcons earlier this year. But risky to wait until the last play to kick the field goal. Had there been a bad snap they would've lost.

Monday: woke early to go play golf. Played decent. Played with G.T., the professor. Two of my regular golfing partners are pretty quiet. We walk the course, giving us opportunities to talk as we head to our balls. Sure we're thinking about our next shot, but sometimes it seems too quiet. I have to work to figure out what to talk about. I don't do a good job of developing those conversations.

Glad that Tulane beat USC even though I picked the Trojans to win. Was it the curse of the Heisman Trophy winner? Another top-3 Heisman finalist was eliminated (Stroud). Hopefully this trend will continue Monday night. Stetson finished fourth.

I was off work for five straight days. Gotten a little accomplished but not a bunch. Played golf 4 times. Keeping Shivonne was a great up 24 hours. C wanted to get stuff done, but she had a birthday party Monday afternoon. We went through some junk in our bedroom, but really didn't make much progress.

"Globalism" (aka the one world government) depends on deception: a good analysis.

Article: Studies and Government Data from Around World: is the Covid Vaccine Dangerous and Deadly, and the Worst Healthcare Disaster in World History? I've seen this cited in several different places.
