Monday: got to work before 6:45 am and started SAP training. Thought I was paying attention but the test was tough. Learned what I would have to do to keep up. We’ll see how it goes. Jason's Deli for lunch.

After spending Sunday night at Shivonne’s, C stopped by to grocery shop on the way home. I left work at 5:30 and beat her home. She grilled chicken, cooked ravioli, and tossed a salad. Watched the Manningcast, featuring Will Ferrell.

Tuesday: snacks in the meeting, and a serve yourself Dreamland BBQ buffet for lunch: BBQ, Brunswick Stew, macaroni & cheese, potato salad, banana pudding. Stuffed.

C took food to her women’s ministry. I worked from 6:45 am to 5:40 pm. Got home and cut the grass, finishing just before dark. Watched some of the Phillies/Marlins. I’d rather the Marlins win out. Looks unlikely.

Also watched the season finale of Only Murders in the Building. SPOILER: the young director did it. Very good. The episode also set up season 4. We’ll be lucky if that comes out in January.

No supper since before I left work I had leftover Brunswick Stew and potato salad from lunch.

Today’s lunch catered by The Flying Biscuit: grits, eggs, biscuits, fruit, bacon, sausage, pancakes.

Recommended: Sunday's message from North Point Community Church.

Youssef: the Bible contains 66 books written over a span of  1600 years. These 66 books were written by 40 different writers. The backgrounds of these writers vary tremendously: doctors, shepherds, prophets, kings, statesmen, lawyers, priests, tax collectors, tentmakers, fishermen. These people held various opinions and worldviews, especially when you consider they wrote over such a vast time period. And yet, together they produced a unified book—unified in doctrine, ethics, and vision. So many people over so many years, and yet they penned a single, unified narrative: the story of God's divine redemption. The unity of the Bible is not superficial or forced; it is profound and organic. The Bible is one grand narrative without contradiction. There is only one logical explanation for the unity of the Bible: behind those 40 human writers, there was a perfect, sovereign, divine God, who guided their minds and their hands. Even so, over the years but many have tried to disprove the Bible through archaeology—and yet time and time again, archaeology has only confirmed the history the Bible teaches, down to the smallest details.
