John Grisham Novels

I find John Grisham novels to be incredibly entertaining. With all the other books I want to read, it will take me years to finish reading all his books. I’ll have to cheat and watch the seven that have been made into movies. Perhaps posting this complete list on my blog will keep me motivated. After I wrote this, a fellow with me in line at the thrift store was buying two Grisham novels.

A Time to Kill…1989. Made into a movie starring Sandra Bulloch, Matthew McConaughey, and Samuel L Jackson

The Firm…1991. Made into a movie starring Tom Cruise.

The Pelican Brief…1992. Made into a movie starring Julia Roberts and Denzel Washington.

The Client…1993. Made into a movie starring Susan Sarandon and Tommy Lee Jones.

The Chamber…1994. Made into a movie Gene Hackman.

The Rainmaker…1995. Made into a movie starring Matt Damon and Danny Devito.

The Runaway Jury…1996. Saw the movie starring John Cusack, Dustin Hoffman, and Gene Hackman.

The Partner…1997. I have the book.

The Street Lawyer…1998

The Testament…1999

The Brethren…2000. I have the book.

A Painted House…2001. Made into a Hallmark HOF movie starring Scott Glenn.

Skipping Christmas…2001. Read book & saw the movie starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Tim Allen.

The King of Torts…2003. Read the book.

Bleachers…2003. Read the book.
