Bulldogs by the Numbers

UGA’s football history is much more complete on the internet than Georgia Tech. GeorgiaDogs.com lists all the All Americans, retired numbers, college football hall of fame members, team captains, and all conference players. While still incomplete, the following list compiles many of Georgia’s standout players. While I have noted all the All-Americans whose numbers I could find, I have probably not noted all the all-SEC players that I have listed. Any suggestions are welcome.

Don't suppose you have the year(s) they played. Might be good reference. I like line item #10. I recognize all of those names. Met Fran Tarkenton when I was about 9 or ten. But, Herschel was so much fun to watch!!

Adding the years played would make it even more interesting, Laney. But I threw away all my research! The GeorgiaDogs website has an interesting history section, that made compiling this list a lot easier. And I'm also a big Herschel fan!
